Slaughtering robots


With the implementation of industrial robots in harvest facilities, IFR is able to achieve new standards with automation in the slaughtering process. Utilizing six-axis industrial robots in a hygienic configuration, combined with high resolution vision systems, intelligent key evaluation software and specially designed tools greatly enhances the slaughtering technology. Automation solutions with IFR slaughtering robots have set new benchmarks all over the world.

The implementation of robots offers facilities with completely new application possibilities. Robots supported by a PC based system are able to deliver highly accurate, repeatable with extremely hygienic operational results over millions of cycles. Number 1 on IFFA 2016

The latest applications and evolutions presented at IFFA 2016 have shown that IFR is the developer number 1 worldwide in robotics for slaughterhouses. At the exhibition 4 new applications that are already working properly on slaughter lines were shown. Two of the most prominent applications are the RPS-D (Robot Pig Splitter with Dual Arm system) and the RLR (Robot for Removal Leaf Lard Remains).

As it’s usual in our applications, they are all equipped with a highly hygienic system of cleanliness that disinfects after every cycle all the parts which have been in touch with the animal.
